Megan Malia Leilani McClung was born on April 14, 1972 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Mike and Re McClung. She was raised in Orange County, California and graduated from Mission Viejo High SchoolMission Viejo, CA in 1990. Megan became one of the first women to attend Admiral Farragut Academy in New Jersey.
(April 14, 1972–December 6, 2006) was the first female United States Marine Corps officer killed in combat during the Iraq WarMajor McClung was serving as a public affairs officer in Al Anbar ProvinceIraq when she was killed.  
Her family had a history of military service. Her paternal grandfather served in the United States Army during World War II, and her father was a U.S. Marine Corps infantry officer[2] who served in Vietnam, seeing combat in the Tet Offensive. Her maternal grandfather was a U.S. Navy officer and pilot.[3] She attended the United States Naval Academy,[4] graduating and receiving her officer's commission in 1995.
McClung graduated with her master's degree in Criminology from Boston University in 2006, several months prior to her death.

Sugar Ray is an American band formed in 1986. The band, starting off more as a funk metal band, first gained fame in 1997 with their release of the song "Fly". This song's success, coupled with its pop rock sound that was quite different from the rest of their material at the time, led the band to change to a mainstream, pop music style. Subsequent albums shared this similar style, and the band landed a number of hits with "Every Morning", "Someday", and "When It's Over".

Marcus was born on January 31, 1987, in Yorba Linda, California to British parents.[1] His family moved back to their native England when Marcus was six months old.[1] He grew up on Chatsworth Avenue in Wimbledon Chase and attended King's College School in Wimbledon where he met fellow band member Ben Lovett.[2] He returned to London to focus on his music career after his first year of study at the University of Edinburgh. It was in Edinburgh that he penned most of Mumford & Sons' debut album, Sigh No More. He began his musical career playing drums for Laura Marling on tour, along with the other current members of Mumford & Sons. It was through touring with Marling and gaining experience playing important gigs, as well as experimenting with his early writing that they decided to set up the band in 2007.[3]
