Currently Baraquio and her family live in Anaheim, California. She is a professional public speaker and is working on her first book. She won Miss America 2001 and participated in the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C. She was also appointed to the President's Council on Service and Civic Patricipation in June 2006 by President George W. Bush.

Hartman had a six-episode recurring role as Holly Fischer in the first season of The O.C., and returned in the fourth season for 4 episodes. In addition to her role in The O.C., Hartman landed a role in the horror filmAbominable. Hartman is currently the face of CBS Mobile, TV.com, and is the host of MTV‘s “Kiss & Tell: The Do’s and Don’ts of Dating.”
