Mark Sanchez was born in Long Beach and went to Mission Viejo High.

Mark Travis John Sanchez (born November 11, 1986^[1]) is an American football quarterback for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft as the fifth overall selection by the Jets and the second quarterback taken overall. He played college football at the University of Southern California (USC).

Sanchez grew up in a well-disciplined and athletic family. In the eighth grade, he began to play football and learn the intricacies of the quarterback position, training with his father, Nick. A well-regarded prospect, Sanchez committed to Southern California following his successful high school career in which he led his team to a championship title during his final season. At USC, Sanchez was relegated as thebackup quarterback during his first three years though he rose to prominence due to his brief appearances on the field in 2007 due to injuries suffered by starting quarterback John David Booty. Sanchez also became popular within the community due to his Mexican-American heritage. Named the starter in 2008, Sanchez led USC to a 12–1 record and won the Rose Bowl against Penn State for which Sanchez was awarded theMost Valuable Player award for his performance on offense.

Although Misty May is not born in Orange County, she did however, grow up in the area. According to Wikipedia:

Misty Elizabeth May-Treanor (born July 30, 1977) is a retired American professional beach volleyball player. She is a three-time Olympic gold medalist, and as of August 2012 the most successful female beach volleyball player with 112 individual championship wins in domestic and international competition.^[1]

Misty May-Treanor and teammate Kerri Walsh Jennings were the gold medalists in beach volleyball at the 2004, 2008, and 2012 Summer Olympics. Together, May-Treanor and Walsh Jennings are considered the greatest beach volleyball team of all time. May-Treanor retired from competitive play on August 8, 2012 after she and Walsh Jennings finished first in the 2012 Summer Olympic games; they defeated the United States team of Jennifer Kessy and April Ross in the gold medal match.

During high school, May-Treanor lived in Costa Mesa, California ^[4] and attended Newport Harbor High School from 1991 through 1995. There, she helped her team win two state championships in indoor volleyball in 1992 and 1994.^[5]

In 1993, May-Treanor was named the Division I All-CIF team Player of the Year.^[6] In 1994, she was named by USA Today as the best girl's volleyball player in the nation.^[7]

She also participated on the track and field team, excelling in the high jump. In 1993 she finished second to future heptathlete Tracye Lawyer at the CIF California State Meet.^[8]

Stephen August Colletti is an American actor and television personality. Colletti portrayed Chase Adams on The CW Drama television series One Tree Hill and has appeared as himself on the MTV Reality Television Series Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County

Colletti was born in Newport Beach, California, the youngest child of Lorilee (née Goodall) and Bruce Colletti. Colletti has an older brother John, and an older sister Lauren. As a teen, Stephen attended Laguna Beach High School in Laguna Beach, California.
