The actor, producer, singer, and musician Kevin Costner was born in Lynwood, but according to the OC Register: "his O.C. connections are strong. He is a graduate of Villa Park High School and Cal State Fullerton, and he met his second wife Christine Baumgartner, 33, at the Clubhouse restaurant in Costa Mesa. She is an O.C. native."
Costner, born January 18, 1955, is most famous for his roles as John Dunbar in Dances With Wolves, Ray Kinsella in Field of Dreams, Robin Hood in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, and Frank Farmer in The Bodyguard. The youngest of three sons, Costner's mother was a welfare worker and his father was an electrician. He's also a singer in country band Kevin Costner & Modern West, and has an avid interest in baseball, business, philanthropy, and NASCAR.
