Orange County City of the Week: Anaheim

The city of Anaheim was founded in 1857 by fifty German families. It was incorporated as the second city in Los Angeles on February 10,1870 and developed into an industrial center, producing aircraft parts, electronics, and canned goods. As of the 2010 United States Census it is ranked as the most populated city in Orange county, with 336,265 residents and a projected population of over 400,000 by next year. This rapid growth is due to the Platinum Triangle, the district in Anaheim surrounded the city's two major sports venues, The Honda Center and Angel Stadium. It is also home to the world famous Disneyland Resort!

Be sure to check out their Website and Visitor & Convention Bureau to see what Anaheim can do for you.
